Acaba de nascer mais uma loja no bairro de SoHo em NYC, mas como todas as lojas da grande cidade, Cutler and Gross também tem seu diferencial. Originalmente de Londres, a marca foi criada por dois amigos, o Graham Cutler e Tony Gross em 1969. Eles tinham como objetivo criar óculos personalizados para os seus clientes. Eles atendiam os clientes no seu primeiro atelier em Knightsbridge e o processo era cuidadosamente feito a mão. Hoje temos o privilégio de ter esse serviço aqui em NY. Cutler e Gross fica na Mercer Street numa loja linda, minimalista, bem iluminada e de fácil acesso. Por enquanto é a única loja nos Estados Unidos e o trabalho deles variam de peças com o look “vintage” para peças com colaborações de estilistas como a Alberta Ferretti. Elton John foi um dos primeiros clientes, e temos certeza que Cutler e Gross vão continuar com seu sucesso em todos os cantos do mundo. Another SoHo based store is born, and just like all the stores in this big city, Cutler and Gross is just as unique. Originally from London, the brand was created by two friends, Graham Cutler and Tony Gross in 1969. Their objective was to create personalized glasses for each of their clients. They attended their clients in their first atelier in Knightsbridge and made sure all their orders were hand-crafted. Today we are lucky to have this service available to us here in New York City. Cutler and Gross is located on Mercer Street in a beautiful and minimilist store with great lighting and easy acess. This is the first flagship store in the United States. Their pieces can have a vintage appeal as well as be a product of collaboration with huge designers like Alberta Ferretti. Elton John was one of the brand’s first clients and we are sure Cutler and Gross will continue to grow all around the world. If you are looking for a unique pair of glasses, Cutler and Gross is a must-see!
